THE NORTH KIRK ART AND CRAFT FELLOWSHIP
The Art and Craft Fellowship meets every Friday from 2pm – 4pm in the Back Hall starting at the beginning of September and running to the end of June. Around 3pm we have a break when we can have tea, coffee and cake ,bought from the North Kirk Cafe!.
During the year members produce art in various forms, painting in water colours, acrylics and oils as well as drawing in pencil and pastels. The paintings covered landscapes, sea scapes, portraits, flowers and animals. Crafts such as woodcarving, beading, cross stitch, crocheting, knitting etc are also produced. There is also plenty of chat to be had.
During the year we had a presence at the PNK Craft Fayre , a coffee morning and the Christmas Fair.
It's important to note that we are not a class but a fellowship. All the members choose their own subject and medium. Anyone is welcome to join us, no previous skills required. If help is needed, it can usually be given from within the group. Robert Ramsay
