MONDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The Monday night group have kept in touch throughout this year. In March and April, we did not meet but, after some consideration and relearning, we decided to try Zoom and we have continued to meet in this way. It has been good to continue like this but of course discussions and the general chat are not quite the same. It has been great to keep us in touch with each other. The friendship and fellowship we have with each other is invaluable.
Our relaxed friendly group meet each Monday at 7.30.
(updated April 2021).
WEDNESDAY NIGHT BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The group normally meets fortnightly on a Wednesday in members’ homes. However, once lockdown started, we were unable to do this. Fortunately, we discovered Zoom and decided that instead of fortnightly meetings we would hold shorter, weekly meetings by Zoom. Once things eased off a bit, we continued to meet by Zoom but went back to fortnightly meetings. I think I speak for everyone in the group when I say that meeting regularly helped to make the lockdown period easier.
We continue to enjoy our studies and discussions using a variety of resources. During 2020 these included "Understanding Our Faith", "Psalm 48", "Daniel: Spiritual Living in a Secular World" and
"The Beatitudes for Progressive Christians". We are looking forward to another year of fellowship together.
