WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE
On 23 March the Kirk Session agreed that the church will not open for worship immediately, despite the changes in restrictions applied by the government. The reason for this is concern for the safety of our volunteers and the congregation, especially as more transmissible variants of the Covid19 virus continue to circulate, and also while the vaccination programme is still developing.
All our services will continue to be livestreamed on our YouTube channel. We will continue to monitor the situation, and hope that we will be able to resume open services very soon after we enter Level 3, at which point booking will be implemented as normal. Further details are given below.
TELEPHONE BOOKING SERVICE
(This service is on hold until further notice)
Unfortunately, due to Covid-19 restrictions, only 40 people are able to attend at present. This includes the minister and the office bearers on duty.
Please pre-register your attendance each week by telephoning 07736 434 817 between 1pm on the previous Sunday and 5pm on the Thursday. Leave a message stating your name, contact telephone number and the number of people in your group. If you hear nothing back please assume that you have a place booked as we will only contact you if a place is not available.
The Sunday service continues to be available, streamed on YouTube. Archives of previous services are also be available, as well as a few other things. These can be accessed from the right of this page, on on Our YouTube Channel.
Supporting documents for the services are available from the links opposite.
If you want to contribute to our service, through prayers, reflections photos or testimony (or artwork from Young Kirk) please email the Minister below. He will review your contribution for suitability and timing and will likely include it within an appropriate service. Submissions must arrive by Thursday in the week.
OTHER ACTIVITIES AND GROUPS Unfortunately we are not yet able to open the Church building to other groups and activities, although we are currently planning for the re-opening of the North hall on a very gradual basis.
Stay safe and God bless!

MESSAGE FROM THE MINISTER
As many of you know I have been off ill, signed off after a mild heart attack. Thank you so much for the many well wishes and the care you have shown both me and Eunice during this time. A huge "thank you" is also due to Jim, Fiona, Brian, and many others for stepping up and taking on the responsibilities I have been obliged to set aside during this time.
As you will know by now, I have been back to my duties since the New Year celebrations. Unfortunately, the mutations to the Covid virus has necessitated a further strict lock down, so I will not get to see you in person for a few weeks. We will be livestreaming services each week though, and hopefully be back to our socially distanced services early on in the New Year.
Sadly I did not get a chance to write or send out Christmas Cards this year. So please, in the absence of conducting Christmas Services, let me wish you a very happy Christmas (despite the restrictions) and a blessed and hope filled New Year.

Session is thankful for the responses received from our members concerning an eventual return to worship and fully understands that some folks will continue to join in from home for the time being. Whilst meeting and worshipping together is an important part of "being church" it is also important for folks to consider their own personal safety as the Covid pandemic continues. Please continue to be very open with your elder about your thoughts on this. Alternatively please email the Minister or Session Clerk on the addresses to the left of this page. Your valuable responses will be fed into any discussions had by Session concerning future moves.
