NEXT WEEK: Our regular weekly worship service.
Session is currently considering how we should approach getting back to normal services as the lock-down is eased and permission is given to us by the church officers in Edinburgh and Presbytery, At the moment each congregation is given liberty to make a decision on timescales and other details as suits their particular context.
Whatever we do, the hope is to continue broadcasting services over YouTube; either prerecorded (as we do currently) or live streaming from the church building. So, folks who want to can always access a service at their own convenience.
This is, however, no substitute for meeting and worshipping together. We are instructed to do so in Scripture, and it is an important part of "being church". Currently our Elders are asking folks in their districts what their preferences are regarding timescales for getting back to normal. Please be very open with them about your feelings on this, alternatively please email the Minister or Session Clerk on the addresses to the left of this page. Your valuable responses will be fed into the discussions had by Session.
